It's funny to hear people talking about the weather having an autumn streak in it at the moment. Or reading magazines gearing up for autumn with articles on woolens, warm soups and knee high boots. Not to mention mittens. I love me some cozy mittens.
Here in equatorial Africa land, not only are we not moving into Autumn, we are in fact going the other way around and moving into the sticky hot and well, let's be honest probably unpleasant part of the year. But it's effectively an endless summer. The flowers don't stop blooming, the sun doesn't stop shining and my (self diagnosed) SAD hopefully won't come anywhere near me. How fantastic!
Here's to flowers and sunshine, skirts and flip-flops, cold white wine and beers. I'll have to move home at some point! I may as well enjoy it while I can.

Eh. I love fall, it's my favorite time of the year. But I don't like that winter, and snow, follows so quickly after. Glad you're loving the weather in Africa!
