Back from beyond

I'm not sure how or why I've neglected this little space for the past few weeks. I suppose the simple answer is I've been busy and the longer answer involves struggling to settle back down here in Dar and a myriad number of different things to keep me busy.

However, I'm back! And I'm raring to go. I just made my first Green Monster which was nothing like what I thought it would be. It's a great pick me up when you come home from work tired too I have to say.

I have unexpectedly got a free pass for the evening after a dinner was cancelled at short notice. I'm quite happy about it as I've spent the last few days in a relative whirl of activity; work, baking, socialising, drinking beer, trying new dinners; that I'm quite happy to have a quiet one. I think a run or a walk would do me the world of good and then Mad Men 3 beckons. Ssshhh... I'm carefully ignoring all references to Season 4 so don't ruin it for me!

Some pretty things to look at just because it's Thursday and I used to talk about things I loved or was thankful for on Thursdays. Flowers and wine. What is there better in the world? Both pictures from my SA trip in March.
