I’ve been a bit distracted all week. Work has got busier, for which I am grateful but it could hardly have chosen a worse time to do it in. I signed the lease on a teeny tiny townhouse near the centre of Dublin on Saturday and moved in over the weekend. It’s still a bit bare but once our shipment gets home from Tanzania I’m sure it’ll start to feel more homely. Most importantly it is a 20 minute walk from work which will be superb.
But to be honest, that is only a minor detail in the exuberance of this week. My boy, my other half, my funny man fiancé is arriving home this morning. This morning! I have to work but I’ll get to see him straight after work and he won’t be going anywhere anytime soon; although I’ll be away a lot with work and have two weekends away scheduled in September. It still stands though that we have survived the three month separation (nothing really in the grand scheme of things) and now we build our life at home. Together.

How exciting for you and your man - a wonderful new start together!
