Someone told me this morning that I didn't look like myself today. I'm not sure where that has come from becuase apart from waving goodbye to my favourite man when I left the house this morning I've definitely got that Friday feeling. James is off to far flung foreign parts for a week for work so I'm a single lady again for a week. That feels very strange.
However, it is Friday and right now I'm settling into my first G&T of the weekend and relaxing on the couch. K has come over and is catching up on some much needed Grazia time and we'll be heading out for sushi soon (I just typed recently there, I really needed this weekend to roll around). If it can't be a Friday evening with James, I'd call that a pretty good substitute.
I've arranged my parents' safari to Northern Tanzania and will even be joining them for the weekend to see the much famed Serengeti. Due to work's strange holiday policy I will only be joining them for the weekend and not any longer but even that will be wonderful! Two and half weeks and counting!
