I have just returned from two days of training with work and while they were fun and probably actually worthwhile it is my weekend that still looms large in my mind.
Despite my monster sleep on Thursday night I was still tired enough to need the quietest weekend I have had in quite some time. This included sleeping in both Saturday and Sunday. Visiting the pool both Saturday and Sunday. Napping and reading by the pool. Eating good food (hummus and falafel on Friday, a simple meal of beans and bacon on Saturday and lots of fresh fruit both days). Spending time with some low pressure friends.
It may sound boring but it was exactly what I needed.
