If I were to recount all the happenings since I last posted, which blogger tells me is nearly 3 months ago, it would be a very long list of "and then's".
And then we got the system live and I finished my job in Tanzania;
And then I interviewed for several jobs and was offered one of them while we travelled through the wide open spaces of Namibia;
And then we took a train across Tanzania for two days and it was delayed by 24 hours so we sat and waved at small children for three days instead;
And then a monkey stole my lunch while I admired the Zambezi River and the might of the Victoria Falls;
And then I packed up my life in Dar es Salaam and sat in one last three hour traffic jam to the airport and left another time in my life behind me;
And then I tried to readjust to life in Dublin, a home I haven't lived in for nearly 6 years;
And then I started my new job and it all started again.
I haven't been doing nothing for these past three months. I've been doing so much I barely knew how to document it. Maybe I'll have more luck from now on.
Next, I get to attend two weddings in three days (so it's wedding, rehersal, wedding) wherein I read a Prayer of the Faithful at one and act as bridesmaid in another. I also get to see James (who we currently think might have malaria!) before he goes back for two more tropical months. And then, we start our life together in Dublin.
I'm quite excited.
