I'm just back from my Christmas do for work and I've wiped off the make-up, pulled back my hair and slipped into my night clothes and curled up on the couch. I have also put my guilty indulgence on the dvd player - the copy of Twilight I bought earlier today. I've read the books and I need to see how the film measures up. More reports later.
The party was fun but by half eleven I was ready for home. My lens were hurting and I couldn't stop yawning. Luckily my sit-in-the-corner companion had a similar mindset and I managed to get a lift home.
Earlier today I put up a Facebook status that I was wishing that I was going home for Christmas after all. I had seen some pictures my sister posted of my family and I suddenly missed them a lot. When I checked in just now I had multiple comments from friends and family sympathising and telling me that really, I was better off. I love when people show they care.
Hope everyone has a great weekend planned. I'll be making more plans for mine once I wake up tomorrow morning but so far it includes dinner with friends tomorrow, a workout (laziness allowing) and hopefully a lot of sleep.
