I meant to do this post yesterday but Christmas Eve ran away with itself between last minute shopping for food and goodies, cash hunting for my friend who has a very particular card that will only work in one type of atm, drinking cocktails by the pool and trying to find a festive film to watch.
Mostly it was successful though. I have a secret santa gift for my boyfriend's boss. Chocolate is an excellent idea except that most of the chocolate you get out here has something in it to stop it melting in the heat that makes it taste horrible. I went with something more decorative in the end. We have a fridge full of food and champagne to get us through the next few days - at home and en route to our safari park.
Festive films failed and we ended up watching Zombieland after a delicious risotto dinner cooked by my talented visitor. Not quite Christmas but hilarious all the same. A zomcomrom perhaps?
I'm awake since 7 and waiting for James and our visitor to stir so that we can exchange gifts. Mine only just got wrapped so perhaps its a good thing I'm up early!
