I appear to have broken myself. That or I have arthritis. Does arthritis have a sudden onset? My left shoulder is killing me after suddenly starting hurting in the middle of work yesterday. I thought a full night's sleep would set me right but my right ankle just joined it instead. Today was a day of sitting strictly upright in my chair in work and trying not to aggravate it any further. A swim seems to have eased it a bit but only slightly.
Today was also the day for splitting my dress right up the back in the middle of the office. It's not that it was tight or anything but there was a rip at the back near the hem where two seams met which must have weakened the material. I put it on this morning in a bit of a daze, thinking that it was such a small hole nobody would notice. It became too big to miss pretty quickly this afternoon. Thankfully I had a cardigan to tie around my waist to hide the rip than ran up over my backside and up to the zipper. It felt terribly teenage years walking around with something tied around my waist like that.
RIP lovely dress. I think you are not salvageable now. Hopefully my shoulder is though!

My sweetie was playing with my 2-year-old nephew the other day, throwing him high into the air and catching him close to the ground, then repeating the experience. Lots of giggles ... then rip - his pants split right up the back seam from bottom to top! I'm still laughing just thinking about it now! :-D
